Frequently asked questions

AirClaimed is a guidance layer. We keep language conservative and avoid guarantees. If you proceed, you choose a specialist partner.

Is AirClaimed a law firm or a claims company?

No. AirClaimed is an informational eligibility and guidance tool. We do not provide legal advice and we do not submit claims. If you choose to proceed, you can continue with a specialist partner.

Does EU261 guarantee compensation?

No. Eligibility depends on the route, carrier, final arrival delay, notice and re-routing conditions (for cancellations), and the airline’s proven cause. Extraordinary circumstances may remove compensation, but other rights can still apply.

What data do you store?

In this pilot, we do not require accounts, do not accept document uploads, and do not intentionally store personal data. Basic operational logs may be processed by hosting providers for security and reliability.

Can you tell me exactly how much I will receive?

No. We avoid definitive amounts and promises. Compensation bands depend on multiple factors including distance and circumstances. A partner can provide a detailed assessment and handle submission.

What if the airline says 'extraordinary circumstances'?

That may affect compensation. The airline typically has to justify the cause. Keep evidence (messages, airport announcements, screenshots). A specialist partner can evaluate whether the airline’s reason is valid under EU261 practice.

Do you use cookies?

We use essential cookies for basic site functionality. Optional cookies (e.g., analytics) are off by default in this pilot.

Why should I use AirClaimed instead of going directly to a claim partner?

AirClaimed is designed as a neutral first step: conservative outputs, clear checklists, and fewer exaggerated promises. It helps you decide whether it may be worth proceeding.
